Dan Casimir Big Band

Winner of the 2024 Arts Foundation for jazz composition, Dan Casimir has become an influential figure within the UK Jazz scene.

Having performed in several countries and with a vast discography, the multi-award-winning composer, bassist, and producer has a musical output that makes him unmissable.

This is a rare opportunity to hear Dan’s big band, a group featuring an impressive selection from the most exciting players of Dan’s generation.

This is really a not to be missed gig and we are totally buzzing to be able to present this group at the festival.

General tickets: £16; Age 17-29: £13; 16 and under: £1 (must be accompanied by an adult)

You can get a free ticket to the gig by selecting our Jazz Champion option and making a £65 voluntary donation to support the running costs of Marsden Jazz Festival. We will also be able to claim an additional £16.25 from the government through the Gift Aid scheme.
